I've had to hire quite a few plumbers in the last several years for wear and tear issues that seem to keep popping up. Joe is the best I've worked with. I left a voicemail briefly describing the issue, and he called back within the hour to get some details and schedule a time. It was fairly urgent since it was a boiler issue, and he was able to find time early the next day to come by.

After taking a look, the issue was what he had anticipated on the call. He left to get the part, came back later that afternoon and had it fixed perfectly inside 30 minutes. I was there to observe, trying to learn as much as possible, and along the way, he patiently explained the issue and how to address it if it happened to recur. He also took the time to inspect the boiler overall, answer some other unrelated questions I had, and give me some tips on regular maintenance.

- I've had other plumbers try to charge me for travel time to and from the supply house, but Joe did not.
- Works with oil systems, which not all plumbers do.

My tenant had an emergency at 6 AM due to burst washer gasket. She called Spectrum and the guy responded promptly - stopped the flooding and replaced the gasket. What is especially nice is that I am comfortable with the tenant calling the plumber directly, rather than calling me first. It saves time, and I completely trust Spectrum to do the right thing and not overcharge me. I will always call Spectrum for every plumbing job b/c he is always available, reliable, honest and affordable.

I Recently Bought a House In Needham. We had a few Minor Plumbing Issues that needed to be taken care of. We contacted Spectrum Heating & Cooling, Joe gave a time that he would be there to look at the job. He was there right at the time he said, gave me a date, a price and when the job would be done. The job was complete when he said it would be, the price was right on target and he did a Fantastic Job!! This past summer my fiance & I decided to put in central air condition. We right away contacted Spectrum Heating & Cooling, he came over right away gave us a reasonable quote and a date that it would be done. He even went above and beyond and contacted a connection of his when we had to have a stump removed in the area of where the compressor was going to go. Once Again a Fantastic Job! It was installed in a short amount of time and the price was just what he said it would be. I would definitely recommend his services!!

I had a Fujitsu mini-split system installed by Joe at Spectrum Heating and Cooling last spring. So I've had a summer to use it. I'm happy to say I've had no problems with it. It is a very quiet system and it cools very quickly. Joe seems to be an honest and hard-working individual. He was professional and everything went smoothly.
